About Me

Tamryn is a dynamic bundle of fun who specializes in culinary adventures for children. A recent graduate of Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne, Tamryn's passion for children and food and her entrepreneurial spirit take her on a new adventure with MiniChefs. Coming from a large family, Tamryn has a passion for kids and their development. Before starting MiniChefs, Tamryn started a company offering technique lessons for young swimmers and brought the same enthusiasm and fundamentals to the pool as she brings to the kitchen. Her experience at Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne has developed a true passion for culinary adventures and she is excited to bring these experiences to the children and families of the Leman area. When not at MiniChefs, you can find Tamryn running the Escalade, Zumba dancing or out exploring the many wonderful restaurants and markets in the Geneva and Lausanne area.

MiniChefs History

MiniChefs was founded in 2010. What began as a few holiday baking classes and cupcake making birthday parties quickly evolved into a diverse line of cooking classes focusing on many foods and cuisines. Always open to new challenges, MiniChefs offers a variety of hands-on cooking classes for kids including seasonal workshops, birthday parties, and school field trips. MiniChefs culinary adventures combine a well-balanced mix of engaging recipes, both savoury and sweet - I often simplify sophisticated recipes to expose the children to professional cooking techniques. I'll never forget the excited little faces when the minichefs were able to take home a bag of pink macaroons for Mother's Day. The MiniChefs goal is to give children the confidence to cook, experiment and create marvellous tasty food in an fun and educational environment.
